My name is Megan and I am the owner of Cherished Moments. Scott (my husband) and I have two wonderful children and a playful Labrador called Jet. We live in a quiet residential area outside of Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
After having my eldest child I started voluntary work. Running small baby and toddler groups. From this I was trained in Bookbug and Peep (Parent Early Education Partnership).
We are a crafty family and whether it is drawing, painting,
or wood burning, we all like to keep our hands busy.
I carry out all work with Cherished Moments. From time to time my husband is drawn in to assist with larger pieces, or animal casts. The latter because he is the dog whisperer in the family.
My children inspire most of my pieces and have been the models for most of my early demonstration pieces.
I couldn’t do what I do without such understanding children and an amazing husband.
About The Business
Cherished Moments is a small home run business. After having my two children, I was searching for a business to run that would provide me the freedom to raise my children but also keep a sense of independence. I started out creating craft packs for young children, with the motto ‘crafting made simple’. From there I undertook porcelain painting where I realised I loved creating keepsakes. At which point I decided to undertake e-courses to enable me to provide professional and high quality services. All of this was run under our previous trading name Little Crafters. Due to the nature of my husband's work, we moved from Lossiemouth to Marlow. As Little Crafters was established for crafting and not life casting, I took the opportunity to re-launch the business with the focus on the keepsake work. This is where Cherished Moments began.
